In Japan, cloth wrapping has been used for over 1200 years - initially as a way to protect belongings, as a spread and then developed over time in different
sizes, for many other uses - like wrappping gifts which is most popular to this day.
Mrs Woo's furoshiki is made from end-rolls and fabric cuttings from our clothing production processes. They're assembled with fabrics featured
in Mrs Woo clothing collections from as far back as 2007. Simple but distinctive, each cloth is individually pieced together.
This furoshiki set includes large-sized cloth and a specially commissioned leather handle by our collaborator Maker B. Gallagher so that you can easily shape this useful piece into a carry bag, to transport belongings, generously enfold gifts.
